BIO
Adrienne Mack-Davis is a classically trained singer and songwriter originally from Rochester, NY. She emanates positivity and self-love through Soul/R&B melodies infused with Hip Hop, Dance, and Pop influences. Over the course of her career, she has performed more than 1,700 live shows worldwide, sharing stages with renowned artists, including Dead Prez, Talib Kweli, Rakim, and KRS-One. In 2023, she served as a U.S. Embassy Artist Envoy, facilitating more than 50 international workshops focused on women’s empowerment, entrepreneurship, and creative arts.
Her musical journey began early, nurtured by a household filled with opera and classical music. A pivotal moment came when her middle school music teacher discovered her vocal gift, connecting her to Patricia Alexander (mother of Renee Fleming) through the Eastman School of Music’s Young Adults Program. Under Alexander’s mentorship and through further study with Thomas Paul, Adrienne developed a strong classical foundation. Yet she felt compelled to explore beyond traditional soprano pathways. After receiving a callback for the Broadway musical Rent, she moved to New York City at 18, immersing herself in diverse artistic communities that expanded her stylistic range.
Adrienne later enrolled at SUNY Purchase, beginning in opera studies before transferring to Studio Composition, where she found her true artistic voice. Since then, she has cultivated a distinctive sound that bridges multiple genres while staying rooted in authenticity and purpose.
Her performance credits include major festivals such as SXSW, A3C, Bridge Fest, Hue Fest, and the Grassroots Festival. She has also been featured on the SoFar Sounds Live Series, demonstrating her adaptability across stages of all sizes. Now based in New England, she performs with her own solo band and Harsh, a well-known Seacoast R&B/Soul experience. Her latest releases include the single Marshmallow and her 2023 project Healer, available on all streaming platforms.
