Classically trained singer/songwriter originally from Rochester, NY. She has traveled the world performing over 1700 live shows both nationally and internationally opening and collaborating with the likes of Dead Prez, Talib Kweli, Rakim, Suboi, Huy DX, DJ Maseo, Redman, styles P, Pharoah Monch, Hannibal Burress, Kool Keith, Aceyalone, Homeboy Sandman, Swizz Beatz, Chali 2Na,  Anthony B, Sister Nancy and KRS-One to name a few.

 

She has participated in over 50 service workshops in over 9 countries on such topics such as anti-human trafficking, entrepreneurship, creative arts and women’s empowerment.

AMD has been a  featured artist on major festivals like SXSW, A3C, Bridge Fest, Hue Fest and Grassroots she has also been featured on the So Far Sounds Live series and has the versatility that allows her to play to a spectrum of different performance spaces.

Hard hitting Soul/RnB melodies fused with infectious Hip Hop, Dance and Pop instrumentals she emanates positivity and self love. Based currently in the New England area she is currently performing with her own solo band as well as Harsh a well known Seacoast RnB/Soul experience.
